Objective: analyze distributed systems at both the whitepaper and code level. Read about consistency concepts in Raft, Paxos, and Dynamo; peek under the hood of distributed systems like ZooKeeper, HDFS, and Riak. This meetup is intended to be a collaborative learning environment with a mild preference of practical over academic (i.e., math should not be a major hurdle).
